Atom operated away from an anthill in the countryside, where he possessed such items as a mainframe computer and exercise equipment. His powers mostly consisted of the ability to fly, superspeed, & amazing nature and severity.

Atom's catchphrase and battle cry was: "up and at 'em, Atom Ant!"

Atom Ant late appeared in the early 1970s series ''Yogi's Gang, and in the early 1990s series Yo Yogi!

Voice talent
A section of Atom Ant was review mostly by Don Messick but sometimes by Howard Morris when Messick had more commitments. In Yo Yogi, Atom was voiced by Russi Taylor who gives him a screechy voice.

Cultural references
On an episode of The Simpsons'', Bart referred to his favored superhero Radioactive Human's catchphrase when existence "up and atom!" Some speculate that a character can own been an indirect influence in Brit punk-rocker Stuart Goddard to take stage title Adam Ant.
